Hi. I’m Marguerite Pigeon, the principal at Carrier Communications. My life is all about writing.

With three languages and extensive international experience in writing and communications, I bring precision, passion, and efficiency to every document that crosses my desk.

My training as a journalist, combined with my MFA in creative writing (UBC), position me to assist with a wide variety of projects. I also write my own books of poetry and fiction, so I understand first-hand how tough it is to write well.

Outside of work, I am an intrepid walker and recent devotee of synchronized swimming. Originally from Blind River, in Northern Ontario, I live with my family in Strathcona, one of Vancouver’s oldest settler neighbourhoods.

I recognize that this land has a much longer history and has always belonged to the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. I am grateful to live and work here as their guest

Working with Marguerite on two book manuscripts was delightful. She did a superb job editing my writing for orthography, style, clarity, structure, and content. She is meticulous, super reliable, punctual, quickly responds to queries, and offers feedback that’s clear, sensitive, and helpful. I cannot recommend her more highly.
